Vancouverites have the ‘reputation’ of being aloof and unfriendly. That’s not true for our IV15 speaker and emcee. Colin Easton is a writer, hobby photography, and people-watcher. In 2014, he created The Stranger Project where he went out and met one stranger, every day for a year. He would talk to people, listen to their stories, and write about the encounter. Every single day for an entire year.
The most interesting thing Colin discovered about himself while working on The Stranger Project was the connection he felt after meeting all these strangers. He stopped walking past people and instead, wanted to reach out and connect with others. This personal social experiment launched Colin on a life-changing journey.
Check out his IV15 video teaser and join us to hear the surprising outcome to his social experiment. Tickets and more info available here.
