Susan Davis is an active sex worker of 24 years, is involved in sex worker labour organizing and is development coordinator for canada’s first sex worker cooperative, the West Coast Cooperative of Sex Industry Professionals. She has lectured on her experiences at universities and colleges, testified to the parliamentry sub committee and testified on the constitutional challenge of Canada’s prostitution laws and sits on numerous committees working to stabilize the safety of Vancouver sex workers. She will be speaking on vancouver’s historical sex industry and her experiences with the rewards of being a sex worker in Vancouver today.
